Crazy Quilt # 8

Multiple fabric remnants (silk, cotton, velvet, linen) sewn together with decorative hand stitching. Featuring embroidered spider web, embroidered flowers, embroidered crescent moon. Large blue velvet border.  Chevron quilted with cotton batting lining. Linen backed.

Good vintage condition. Some patches have deteriorated or are missing. Wear and age on velvet border, as well as 2″ tear on velvet. Stitching on the seams of two corners is gone, but can be repaired. Overall the quilt is in stable condition. Circa late Victorian or Edwardian era.
