FAQ

Do you ship? 

Yes! Gadabout will ship items at the purchaser’s expense. The purchaser is also responsible for any customs charges, import duties, or brokerage charges imposed by the country receiving the package.  Should the purchaser request insurance above $100 for the item, it will also be at their expense. 

What happens when I put an item on hold?  

Gadabout receives an email notifying us of the hold with your contact information.  We will then contact you (in a timely fashion) for the next steps such as:  do you have questions regarding the item, do you want to come to the store and see the item (outside due to pandemic protocol), how would you like to pay, et cetera. 

How can I pay?

Gadabout accepts payment via e-transfer (preferred), PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, Interac (POS machine at the store), and cash payment at the store. 

Do you accept returns?

If you are purchasing the item as a gift, returns are accepted for credit within two weeks of purchase.  Refunds are not given.

Can I try an item on? 

Once the store reopens you will be able to try on items.  If you wish to try on a coat or exterior item outside, we are happy to accommodate.  

Does Gadabout purchase items? 

Gadabout does purchase items.  We have many people looking to sell things so please send us a photo and we will get back to you.  There are many things that we are NOT looking for so please check with us first. Gadabout is not a consignment shop.

Can I pick up my purchases at the store? 

Yes! Gadabout is open for curbside pickup and window shopping. 

Does Gadabout offer gift certificates? 

Yes, we can provide both gift certificates and gift receipts.
