Early Fortuny, circa 1920’s, Tightly woven twill edged in his signature scrolling “R” border,
You get subtle color saturation throughout Fortuny pieces due to the fact these fabrics were hand printed and would have had different pressure applied to the stamp. These highs and lows of color are what Fortuny is most known for in his designs.

There is gentle colour irregularities throughout.
