Beautifully printed 19th century wool paisley shawl. One half of the shawl has been printed with an ivory background, and the other half has been printed with a chocolate coloured background. Like having two shawls for the price of one! Hand stitched edges with added wool fringe.
Condition: There is some minor damage in the body of the shawl, and along the edges. Overall a beautiful example of block printing from the 19 century.
