Grand Trunk Pacific Blanket

This wool blanket bearing the Grand Trunk Pacific name, could possibly have been a lap blanket from that rail company. Grand Trunk Pacific operated from 1914 to 1919 in western Canada before it became part of the nationalized CNR. There are a number of small holes in the blanket, some have been repaired with surface stitching. The binding on the edge of the blanket shows wear in a few areas.

A little piece of Canadiana.

Approximate size 54“ x 72“.
