Vintage Red Velour Lap Blanket

This red velvet lap blanket dates from the late 19th to early 20th centuries. It has a floral motif woven border that is approximately 7 3/4” wide. There are a number of places within the velvet where part of the pile has come off, or thinned. There is one small repair inside the velvet. The woven border has some staining and areas where the edge has started to fray.
Approximate size 58” x 58” square.
