Antique Chinese Embroidered Overlay

Three-piece Chinese embroidery with what appears to be a waistband attached. Most of the embroidery is done in satin stitch, but there is some gold wrapped thread as well. In some of the areas that were embroidered in black, the silk has started to disappear from the way the fabric was died. The black band around the outside also has similar issues. There is several very tiny sequin like discs that appear to be jade. There are three left of what appears to have been four. The piece is backed with a light weight cotton, that has a few small holes. The piece dates from the late 19th to early 20th century.
