Description
This original vintage British Railway poster advertises Ilfracombe in Devon England. Walter Spradbery worked as an art teacher, exhibiting at the Royal Academy, a linocut artist, and a poster designer, mainly for London Transport. This is a rare original linen backed poster dated 1948 and one of only 4000 produced. Many were lost in the paper drive after WW2. 26″ x 42″ (66cm x 106 cm)
