Edwardian Walking Suit

Amazing Edwardian walking suit in a black and white small check fabric. This suit has a gorgeous jacket/blouse with leg ’o’ mutton sleeves and a cross-over front that creates a v neck. The jacket is trimmed in floral lace along the neck line and down along the front edging of the cross-over as well as on the cuffs. The jacket has very tight ruching at its front and back centre creating a very tailored waist-line as well as a blouson top. There is also pin tucking at the shoulders, cuffs and down the back of the jacket. The skirt has a waist band, is slightly longer in the back then the front and features horizontal pin tucking all the way around it as well as a very large flounce hem which starts about two thirds of the way down the skirt. This is a fantastic set.

Condition: Great vintage condition. The blouse is perfect. The skirt is missing the button at the waist (easily remedied) and the has rust-like spotting in a few places.
