Edwardian Nightgown

This is a beautiful Edwardian nightgown in a white cotton. The neckline is high with a large floppy collar that is triangular in the front and is a capelet in the back. The collar is trimmed in a white cotton frill. There is also a tuxedo detail in the front centre. This detail has a thin panel of lace embroidery running to below the bust line and it is trimmed by white cotton frill all around it. There are two hidden buttons underneath this detail where the nightgown does up. The sleeves are long and full with pleating at the cuff followed by a frill.  The bodice and the skirt are not fitted.
