This is a fabulous 1940’s peplum jacket and skirt. The fabric is a rich pink with white circles and the collar and cuffs are trimmed with black velvet. The jacket has two thin shoulder pads, is a v-neck with peaked lapel’s and has three fabric covered buttons down the front. The sleeves are three-quarter length and the velvet cuffs turn back over the sleeve. The skirt has a one-inch flat waist band and is a circle skirt. It does up on the side with a hidden metal zipper and a hook & eye clasp. The jacket is lined in a heavier silk and has three darts running down each side of the bust giving it structure. The skirt is floaty and unlined.
