1940s Coral Silk Crepe 2pc Beaded Evening Gown

This 1940s gown which is made from coral silk crepe, has cream silk ribbon spaghetti straps and a drop waist. Stunning enough on its own, this gown comes with an exquisitely embroidered coral and turquoise top. The top, which has shoulder pads, is mostly coral in colour but is banded at the end of the sleeves and at the bottom of the top itself by turquoise silk crepe. The embroidery is all over the top in gold braid trim and turquoise, red and white beads. The sleeves are 7/8 length and the neckline is a v-neck. The turquoise banding on the top fits snug on the hips and does up with a long hidden metal side zipper on the left hand side. The dress also has a hidden side zipper on the left hand side.
